there's a saying that hindsight is always 20/20. so much truth to that statement! below is a blog draft I created this past tuesday, a copy and paste of one of my devotions that day that i wanted to share. amazingly enough, the very next day i found myself in the middle of a difficult and intense spiritual battle (ephesians chapter six status). constant prayer, worship of our Almighty God, and the living Word of God are what have sustained me through this battle. and as i came across this draft that i forgot about, i realize now that the Lord was preparing me for what He knew was ahead. God is so amazing isn't He? there is no god like our God!

God has a different perspective on suffering. He calls us to seek refuge in Him during these times and to trust in His goodness. When we fully grasp His love, we can rest in the security that our circumstances, no matter how painful, have eternal value. God may not always deliver us from those circumstances, but He promises to walk with us through them and never forsake us. When we look at trials through eternal eyes, we may be more willing to be perfected because we know we have not yet reached our final destination.

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.
